DIGITAL VIDEO SIGNAL INTERFACE MODULE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital video signal interface module capable of suppressing an increase in connection loss by using an optical fiber with a large core diameter and of transmitting a digital image of high resolution.

SOLUTION: A transmission side unit 5 equipped with a conversion means for converting a digital video signal to be input from a host device into an optical signal is connected to a reception side unit 6 equipped with a conversion means for converting the optical signal into an electrical signal to output it to a video output display 2 with a cable unit 4 comprising the optical fiber 13 equipped with optical connectors 12a on both ends. Optical fibers 13a and 13b provided with optical connectors 21a and 21b to be connected to the cable unit 4 are mounted to each of the transmission side unit 5 and the reception side unit 6. The number of openings of transmitted radiation from the exiting end of the optical fiber 13a to be mounted to the transmission side unit 5 is made smaller than the number of openings of the optical fiber 13 of the cable unit 4.
