HOLLOW CONDUCTIVE FINE PARTICLE, OPTICAL FUNCTION FILM, REFLECTION PREVENTING FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE ABOVE, POLARIZING PLATE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive fine particle having conductivity and a low refractive index concurrently, an optical layer including the fine particle, especially, a reflection preventing layer, further, an optical function layer having a sufficient reflection preventing property and a dust-proof property, especially, a reflection preventing film, and further, to provide a polarizing plate having a reflection preventing property and a dust-proof property, and an image display device such as a liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: The conductive fine particle has a hollow therein. The optical function layer containing a fine particle dispersing a substance or the optical function film having an optical function layer, especially, the reflection preventing film, the polarizing plate having the reflection preventing film as a constitutional layer, and the liquid crystal display plate are provided.
