<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device of a keyboard musical instrument which can suppress flexure of a chassis and is easily assembled and disassembled, without making a musical instrument main body large-sized. <P>SOLUTION: The keyboard device is equipped with the chassis 4 mounted on a shelf plate 3, a plurality of keys 5 which are supported rotatably on the chassis 4, and a rib 8 which is fitted to the surface of the shelf plate on the opposite side from the surface where the chassis 4 is mounted and connected to the chassis 4 to reinforce the chassis 4.
