<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for an elevator capable of performing maintenance, inspection, and the like while safely protecting customer engineers who are working within a hoistway. <P>SOLUTION: The operation control device for the elevator is provided with person detecting means SW1, SW2 for directly or indirectly detecting the presence of persons M2a, M2b in predetermined places within the hoistway 1, and a control means 8 for performing normal operation of controlling the operation of a car 2 by controlling a hoisting motor 5 to respond to calls based on the operation of a hall call button 6 and a car call button 7a on an operation panel in the car in the case of detecting no person by the person detecting means, and forbidding a response to the predetermined above calls so as not to move the car to the predetermined floor related to a place with the presence of the detected persons for safety protection in the case of detecting the persons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
