PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke sound recording system with which a singing skill scoring means attached to a karaoke playing terminal is effectively utilized, a singer can fully exhibit singer's own singing skill without causing any obstacle to utilization of karaoke by other users and without feeling pressure during his/her singing, the user can satisfactorily write recorded sound which he/she has sung well objectively to the degree his/her singing can be written into a portable recording medium on the basis of the criterion of the user, using an arbitrary writing device, whenever and wherever he/she wants. SOLUTION: The user registers his or her reference scoring value beforehand in a karaoke host device. In an arbitrary karaoke playing terminal which is network connected to the karaoke host device, the system to record the the voice to the karaoke host device is constituted so that the recorded voice can be written into a portable recording medium using an arbitrary writing device for the user whose user ID is recognized when the user sings a prescribed karaoke music and the scoring result exceeds the reference scoring value in a normal karaoke use without following a special process.
