PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form visibly recognizable visual information on a workpiece upon making to coincide the direction of a viewer's line of sight with the direction of the irradiation of a laser beam. SOLUTION: A laser projector is provided with a coupling part 6 that makes to coincide the direction of the laser beam emission from an optical scanning part 2 with the direction of the line of sight. For this coupling part 6, the center position of the laser beam scanning in the optical scanning part 2 and the viewer's eye position are placed in a conjugate position. The projector is also provided with a scan control part 12 that is performed at least by either raster scan or vector scan. A photodetector 13 is arranged at a position conjugate to a laser light source position. The laser beam is polarized or time-division modulated.
