PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-type auto-screen device which is low in installation cost, fit for an inlet channel such as a small river, and dispenses with post handling of refuse. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the auto-screen device, a horizontal bar-type screen 4 is set in an inflow port 3 of the inlet channel 2 branched from a main channel 1, in a direction in parallel with a water flowing direction of the main channel, and a rake 6 which is reciprocatively movable along the horizontal bar-type screen 4 is arranged along a surface of the horizontal bar-type screen 4, facing the main channel. The horizontal bar-type screen 4 is formed like a circular arc along the flowing direction of the main channel, and the rake 6 is supported at the tip of a rotary arm 9 rotating about the center of the circular arc of the horizontal bar-type screen 4 as a rotation fulcrum, and reciprocatively movable along the circular arc of the horizontal bar-type screen 4.
