PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a piled decoration to be easily attached onto piled rice cake and to enable a child to play with the piled decoration itself concerning the decorative piled rice cake which is decorated on new year's holidays or celebratory occasions and decorated in a household altar, etc. SOLUTION: A piled decoration body for the decorative piled rice cake comprises a cover body 1 for the upper piece of piled rice cake 1 which is molded to be substantially similar to an upper piled rice cake part so as to be detachably fitted to the upper piled rice cake part of a synthetic resin-made piled rice cake container P with the piled rice cake sealed therein; and the piled decoration 2 to be detachably mounted on the upper part of the cover body 1 for the upper piece of the piled rice cake 1. The piled decoration 2 comprises a decoration main body 7 solidly formed, including a recessed part with an opening 6 at its bottom; and a cylindrical bottom lid body 5 with a bottom for forcibly fitting the opening 6 of the recessed part and closing it. An attachment hole 4 is arranged at the center of the top of the cover body 1 for the upper piled rice cake, where the opening 6 of the piled decoration 2 is made to fit and which is held in a pressure-contact manner by fitting the bottom lid body 5 to the opening 6 from an opposite side.
