PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust bag for a vacuum cleaner by which a dust bag main body is made to be sanitary by preventing bad smell and various germs occurring from dust collected into the dust bag main body. SOLUTION: The dust bag 40 for the vacuum cleaner is provided with the permeable dust bag main body 42 with a suction port 41 to collect the dust from the suction port 41 by mounting the main body 42 to the vacuum cleaner 10. Photocatalyst treatment (photocatalyst layer) H is given to the inner surface 42b of the main body 42, and a translucent part 44 for transmitting light is provided at the main body 42.
