PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip absorbing mat capable of preventing the deterioration of the colors of foods, such as meat or the like of the touched side when the foods, such as meat or the like are put on. SOLUTION: The deterioration of the color of the meat of the side touched to the drip absorbing mat 10 is prevented by forming the drip absorbing mat 10 laid under the foods which release gravy (drip) with an absorbing sheet object 11 for absorbing the drip and a porous surface sheet object 13 disposed on the top side of this absorbing sheet object 11 and touched to the foods, and by improving the air-permeability of the drip absorbing mat 10 even in the thickness direction or even in the planar direction.
