PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulated substance filling apparatus in a simple structure capable of filling a packaging bag with a granulated substance fully compressed. SOLUTION: The granulated substance filling apparatus includes a granulated substance supply tube 20 for discharging the granulated substance from a lower end opening, a packaging bag holding member 40 provided below the supply tube 20, vertically movable and supporting the packaging bag to be filled with the granulated substance, a lift 50 for vertically driving the holding member 40, and a granulated substance pressing member 60 provided around the lower end opening of the supply tube 20. The granulated substance to be filled into the packaging bag supported by the holding member 40 is compressed from upward by the pressing member 60 in association with the vertical movement of the holding member 40.
