It is intended to reform heavy oil (Bunker A, Bunker B or Bunker C), lubrication oil/waste oil, etc. of high environmental load contained in petroleum (hydrocarbon compounds) to fractions of low environmental load, such as light oil cut and light oil/kerosene cut as well as kerosene/naphtha/gasoline fraction, to thereby attain effective utilization of finite petroleum resources and reforming of fuel oil on environmental safety. There is provided a technology for reforming of heavy oil to light oil according to the method of absorption/adsorption collection cracking removal through catalytic distillation with porous active kaolin catalyst as to carbon-bond-having carbon components contained in petroleum (hydrocarbon compounds). Further, there are provided a relevant catalyst, apparatus and equipment.
