Machine for removing crusts of bread comprises: (a) an input conveyor (1) comprising a treadmill, responsible for causing the longitudinal advance of bread (2) towards a cutting zone arranged above conveyor (1) and provided with adequate means to remove the peel; and (b) cutting wheels (3) for each of the sides of the bread (2), which extend parallel to conveyor (1) and rotate in the same direction tangential to the direction of forward longitudinal input conveyor (1).
