摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material which can be produced at a low cost and capable of providing a lithium secondary battery which is superior in various kinds of battery performances in a balanced manner, even when it is used at high electrode density.

SOLUTION: This negative electrode material is manufactured, by using graphite powder having a tap density of 0.80-1.35 g/cm3, a surface functional group quantity O/C value of 0-0.01, a BET specific surface area of 2.5-7.0 m2/g, and a Raman R value range of 0.02-0.05.
