PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of surely enabling a user to view and listen to the content of a television or radio broadcast, CD, DVD or the like interrupted for outputting route guidance information, from an interrupted spot after the finish of outputting of the route guidance information. SOLUTION: A first storage means 13 for storing first information capable of write-in and readout, a second storage means 18 for storing second information capable of write-in and readout, an information changeover control means 19 which selects either the first means 13 or the second means 18, and interrupts readout from the other storage means during readout of information from the selected storage means, and an output means 20 for outputting read out information, are provided. Consequently, during reading information out from either the first means 13 or the second means 18, outputting of information from the other storage means 18 or 13 is interrupted, and the information can be output from its interrupted spot after the interruption.
