PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a mounting space smaller in a high-voltage load switch by suppressing the distance, from the substrate to a part of the high-voltage load switch which is separated the largest, to be a necessary minimum. SOLUTION: A main shaft 7 is supported with special support plates 15, 16 so that the height of the upper end of an operation lever 6A and so on, made of an insulating epoxy resin, wherein near of lower end is integrally rotatably fixed to a main shaft 7 and a copper blade plate 5A and so on is rotatably attached to a slit part does not change. When a rotation arm 8 is turned, resisting the energizing force of a spring (not shown) for engaging an engaging bolt 8a with a latch key 9 to connect the blade plate 5A and so on with a jointing part in an arc extinguish chamber 4A, or when either of current-limiting fuses 12A fuses and so on and the latch key 9 is separated by a crank mechanism 27A and so on and returned to a status in the figure in an instant, by energizing force of the spring, the blade plate 5A slide and so on in nearly parallel with the substrate 2, and both can be brought closer to the minimum insulation distance.
