PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toy apparatus providing a user with experience as if the user actually grips a steering wheel of a real automobile for driving it. SOLUTION: The toy apparatus has an automobile toy and a remote controller 2 for remotely controlling the automobile toy. The remote controller 2 includes a steering wheel-shaped remote control body 11 having a right and left pair of gripping parts 14. A switch-operated inclination detecting means is provided inside the remote control body 11 for detecting right inclination and left inclination of the remote control body 11. When a right switch of the inclination detection means detects the right inclination of the remote control body 11, front wheels of the automobile toy is turned right by a set turning angle.
