PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for air conditioner capable of satisfactory keeping air conditioning performance by suppressing a pressure loss of the air blown out of a casing through an outlet port, and sufficiently responding to a request of a more compact size. SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 19 is arranged within a casing so that its rotating axial line P is laid along the depth direction of the indoor unit 10, and a reheating heat exchanger 25 is arranged on the left of the blower 19 within the casing 11 (casing body 12), and an air conditioning heat exchanger 26 is arranged on the right of the blower 19. Therefore, the air blown from the blower 19 is never passed through the other heat exchanger after passing through one of the air conditioning heat exchanger 26 and the reheating heat exchanger 25, and the pressure loss of the air blown out of the casing 11 through the outlet port 15 can be suppressed to satisfactorily keep the air conditioning performance.
