PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device with a shut-off valve to be reliably closed and easily opened/closed with always constant operating force. SOLUTION: A shut-off valve seat 15 is formed in a shut-off valve chest 8, and a shut-off member 16 arranged in the shut-off valve chest 8 is connected in linkage with an operation handle 17 via a transmission member 18. The operation handle 17 is changed-over between a closing attitude and an opening attitude to move the shut-off member 16 close to or apart from the shut-off valve seat 15. A stop pin 22 is provided on a housing 2 for receiving the operation handle 17 changed-over into the closing attitude C. An energizing spring 30 energizes the shut-off member 16 to the side of the shut-off valve seat 15, and a locking part 31 of a transmission member 18 receives the shut-off member 16 from the side of the shut-off valve seat 15. In the opening attitude D, the shut-off member 16 being apart from the shut-off valve seat 15 is received by the locking part 31. In closing attitude C, the shut-off member 16 is moved apart from the locking part 31 and thrust to the shut-off valve seat 15 with the energizing force of the energizing spring 30.
