PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing motion adjusting device for a band guide which can control the opening/closing motion of an integral type band guide in such a manner that the tension of a packing band may not be loosened when the band guide shakes. SOLUTION: This opening/closing motion adjusting device for the band guide is constituted of a rotating shaft 45 which is rotatably attached to an arch 3 from a second corner section to a third corner section of the band guide 5, and a plurality of swing members 47, 49 and 51 fixed to the rotating shaft 45 and connected with the band guide 5. Moving amounts at the connected parts between the swing members 47, 49 and 51 and the band guide 5 are set to be different when the rotating shaft 5 is rotated by a specified angle.
