PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce an upper member by reducing weight of a car body as well as reducing cost of materials. SOLUTION: A reinforcement 10 is provided adjacent to a mounting part of a latch 11 on the upper member and a closed cross-section is formed of the upper member 4 and the reinforcement 10 on a front part structure of the car body on which the upper member 4 extending in the left and right direction is provided on a main body of a vehicle and a latch 11 to lock a striker 13 of a front hood 12 is mounted on the upper member 4.
