The lock has several magnets arranged in pairs such that two magnetic poles of same polarity face each other, where one of the magnet is magnetically hard. Codes are provided in gap between the magnets to open and close the lock. The magnet is provided in a ferromagnetic region and codes are provided in two-dimensional form. The codes are arranged next to each other in the ferromagnetic region and in non-ferromangnetic region (29).
