<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share not only a storage memory that a musical sound generating means uses, but also a storage memory that an effect adding means uses with a central processing unit (CPU). <P>SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a musical sound information processor having a 1st storage means (217) of storing musical sound data representing the contents of a musical sound and a processing program for generating and radiating the musical sound, a 2nd storage means (218) including a 1st temporary area for temporarily storing the data representing the contents of the musical sound to add effects to the musical sound and a 2nd temporary area needed for processing of generation and radiation of the musical sound, a musical sound generating means (213) for reading the musical sound data out of the 1st storage means, an effect adding means (214) for accessing the 1st temporary area of the 2nd storage means, and the central processing unit (212) for reading the processing program out of the 1st storage means and accessing the 2nd temporary area of the 2nd storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
