<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which exhibits an excellent printing quality on various kinds of recording media, particularly a high color development on ordinary paper and produces images having significantly excellent gloss on glossy paper. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains a pigment, a copolymer of a vinyl polymer having a specific structure as a dispersant and a copolymerized compound of a propyleneoxy group and ethyleneoxy group having a specific chain length (hereafter called PO/EO copolymerized compound) and water as a main solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
