<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fuel tank capable of preventing falling and losing of a cap from a tank body, capable of extremely smoothly and lightly carrying out opening and closing operation of the cap as especially a filament body to be connected to the cap can vertically move with no resistance in a through passage of a strainer and capable of certainly capturing foreign matter contained in injected fuel until injection of the fuel is finished after its initial stage. <P>SOLUTION: The through passage 16 is provided in the strainer 12, its opening upper end is projected above a fuel level Lmax at the time when fuel is filled up, a string 23 is passed through the inside of the through passage 16 with a clearance C and an engaging part 16e with which a stopper 25 of the string 23 makes contact is provided on its lower part on this fuel tank to prevent falling of the cap 18 by engaging the stopper 25 of the string 23 with the strainer 12 in removing the cap 18 by providing a fuel injection port 11 with the strainer 12 on the tank body 10 and extending the string 23 connected to a cap 18 to the inside of the tank body 10 through the strainer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
