<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin composition which leaves little insolubles on the non-image part of a substrate, is excellent in adhesion with the substrate, can evenly form high-intensity color pixels and provides little defects due to foreign matters even in die coating. <P>SOLUTION: The colored resin composition comprises a color material, a solvent, a dispersant and a binder resin. The binder resin is a resin comprising a copolymer of at least one selected from the group consisting of a macromonomer, a monomer having an alcoholic hydroxy group, a monomer having a carboxy group, a monomer having an N-substituted maleimide and mono(2-(meth)acryloyloxyethyl)dicarboxylate and other copolymerizable comonomers.
