ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of guaranteeing the quality of data stored in a non-volatile memory when a CPU rewrites data stored in a flash memory.

SOLUTION: The device comprises: a communication circuit 9 which transmits and receives calculation processing information to and from a memory rewrite device 8; a rewritable flash memory 3 which stores the calculation processing information received by the communication circuit 9; a CPU 2 which incorporates the flash memory 3 and performs calculation processing according to the calculation processing information; a temperature detection circuit 7 which detects the ambient temperature of the flash memory 3; a monitoring circuit 4 which monitors whether the CPU2 is operated properly; and a disconnecting circuit 10 which disconnects communication between the memory rewrite device 8 and the communication circuit 9, and is composed so that when the ambient temperature of the flash memory 3 is within a normal range and the CPU 2 is operated properly, data stored in the flash memory 3 are rewritten in correspondence with the calculation processing information received by the communication circuit 9.
