PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic solidified body which is uniform over whole body even if it is an article having a fixed shape obtained by using a frame mold into which a raw material is poured or a shapeless article obtained without using the frame mold, and which has a large porosity of 30-50% and high compression strength of≥5 N/mm<SP>2</SP>; and to provide a method for producing the solidified body of steel-making slag, by which the solidified body can be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: The new solidified body of steel-making slag is obtained by adding a binder and water to the steel-making slag which acts as aggregate and a binder, then kneading the resulting mixture, pouring the kneaded material into a frame mold or placing the kneaded material under pressure on the ground, and curing and solidifying the kneaded material. The method for producing the solidified body is also provided. Concretely, the steel-making slag including particles having diameters of≤10 mm in an amount of≥30 mass% is used, and after adding a new thickening agent so that the apparent porosity of the solidified body becomes 30-50%, the kneading is performed under the condition that the mass ratio of water to the binder is 60-250% (water/binder)(×100%).
