PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leachate sludge treating system for reclaimed land highly reduced in influence and load on the environment by suitably stabilizing polluted water of a reclaimed land, leachate sludge originating from a leachate treating apparatus, or residues of leachate sludge, other sludge and the like, and a leachate sludge treating method for the reclaimed land. SOLUTION: The leachate sludge treating system includes a melting means 2 for melting the polluted water or the leachate sludge (sludge, residues of sludge or the like) under a high-temperature atmosphere having roughly 1,200°C or higher to finally stabilize and detoxify them into a substance such as slag as a high-temperature liquid matter 11, a gas burning means 3 for completely burning a combustible gas, a gas cooling means 4 for cooling gas, an exhaust gas treatment means 5 primarily for collecting dust, and a ventilation means 6 for sucking an oxygen-containing gas for combustion and an exhaust gas.
