<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting device for a steering lock device equipped at least with an ignition switch and a lock mechanism to hinder a steering shaft from rotating, capable of inspecting the operating condition of the steering lock device while the man-hours for the work and the working space are reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A movable table 70 is approached to a supporting table 65 in the condition that the steering lock device 11 after being assembled completely is held in the predetermined attitude by a holding means 66 on the supporting table 65, and a rotary shaft 71 having at the forefront a key chuck means 73 to hold a key 14 is rotated by a rotational driving means 74, and thereby the rotor of the steering lock device 11 is driven into rotation. Change in the form of switching operation of the ignition switch 18 in compliance with the rotation of the rotor is inspected by a switch signal inspecting means 67 and also the actuation condition of the lock mechanism is inspected by a lock actuation condition inspecting means, and thereby the actuation inspection at least of the ignition switch 18 and the lock mechanism can be performed continuously and automatically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
