IP PHONE SYSTEM, IP PHONE, AND DESTINATION USER IDENTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ip phone system, an ip phone, and a destination user identification method whereby a destination user can be identified before taking a telephone call.

SOLUTION: In the IP phone system provided with: an IP phone 102 (101) acting like a master unit of a master slave phone connected to the IP network 106; a Web server 105 for registering ringer tone information corresponding to a telephone number assigned to the IP phone 102 (101); and an ENUM server 103 for registering a NAPTR record wherein link information to the ringer tone information registered to the Web server 105 is designated as a URI, the IP phone 102 receiving a incoming call inquires of the ENUM server 103 about the NAPTR record in response to the telephone number of the called party, requests the Web server 105 to transmit the ringer tone information corresponding to the telephone number of the called party in response to the returned NAPTR resource record, and a phone main body and slave units 107 to 109 connected thereto ring the ringer tone in response to the returned ringer tone information.
