<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to quickly know that the registration of correspondence relationship between an SIP address and an IP address is failed. <P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal 3 registers the SIP address of its own terminal when using an SIP on a network and the IP address to an SIP server 1 by making them to correspond to each other. When the communication terminal 3 receives the notification that the registration is failed from the SIP server 1, it informs the IP address, which is registered to a storage part 7 of its own terminal, that the registration is failed. In that case, when a plurality of notification destinations are registered to the storage 7, the notification is transmitted to the registered notification destinations.
