<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing a slider from being scraped off at inserting and drawing out while capable of preventing the slider from being drawn out from a housing carelessly. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 is provided with a plurality of metallic contacts 3, a resin housing 4 to retain those contacts 3, and a resin slider 5 installed slidably in backward and forward direction to this housing 4 in order to press FPC against the contacts 3. The slider 5 is provided with a pair of insertion arms 53 inserted into the housing 4, and a locking part 531 is formed at the tip end of the respective insertion arms 53, protruding toward width direction outside. Expanding parts 444 are swollen out toward the width direction inside at the face opposed to the insertion arms 53 of inside wall parts 442 of the housing 4. When the slider 5 is drawn out, the respective insertion arms 53 are elastically deformed and the locking parts 531 climb over the swelling parts 444. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
