PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception system for receiving a plurality of broadcast/communication media in which circuit components are shared and the number of man-hours is reduced to realize excellent productivity at a low cost. SOLUTION: The reception system is configured in such a way that a converter 110 converts a radio wave of reception media received by an antenna device 100 into a common intermediate frequency signal and transmits the signal to a demodulation/decoding apparatus 130 through an IF signal cable 140, and the demodulation/decoding apparatus 130 uses a switching circuit 135 to switch the output destination of the intermediate frequency signal outputted from the converter 110 to demodulation/decoding circuits 136 to 138 of reception media selected by its own system and outputs the signal to them.
