PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of detecting a port maintenance time of a communication processing apparatus. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus 1 includes: a request packet transmission section 11 for transmitting one or more request packets for requesting transmission of a reply packet via a plurality of ports of the communication processing apparatus 2; a reply packet reception section 12 for receiving the reply packet transmitted from a server apparatus 3; and a port maintenance time detection section 13 for detecting the port maintenance time of the communication processing apparatus 2 on the basis of the reply packet received by the reply packet reception section 11, and the server apparatus 3 includes: a request packet reception section 31 for receiving the request packet; a reply packet transmission section 32 for transmitting the reply packet; and a reply packet transmission control section 33 for controlling the transmission of the reply packet by the reply packet transmission section 32 on the basis of the request packet received by the request packet reception section 31.
