PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus which can be easily installed and removed in a short period of time without additional cost and to provide a monitoring system. SOLUTION: The camera apparatus 3 photographs an object to acquire video data, and transmits the acquired video data to a host device 4 by wireless communication. The camera apparatus 3 includes a connector that can be fitted to a lighting duct 2 and acquire power by being fitted to the lighting duct 2.
