PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely execute manufacturing history management in spectacle lenses of spectacles. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the spectacle lens comprises manufacturing the spectacle lens, as a progressive refracting power lens 20, etc., by obtaining the information necessary for framing of the spectacle lenses including the information related with the spectacle lenses, the information related with the spectacle frame including a frame of a boxed shape, and the information related with prescription values and layouts and marking the related information and the information related with the manufacturing on the progressive refracting power lens 20. Whether nose side hide marks 18 and 19 including characters or symbols existing on the nose side out of the above information are arranged inside the boxed region A of the frame on the progressive refracting power lens or not is decided and the nose side hide marks are arranged in the prescribed positions inside the boxed region A of the frame and are marked.
