PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing which can smoothly rotate for a long period, by solving a problem of swinging rotation occurring when using a bearing of which the internal circumference has an arc shape, and to provide a hot-dip metal plating apparatus incorporating the bearing therein. SOLUTION: A bearing structure of a roll which is placed in a molten metal and changes a direction of a traveling steel strip by winding it thereon has: such a cross-sectional shape in a direction perpendicular to the inner circumferential surface of the bearing, as to previously consist of a first arc A1 having a curvature radius approximately equal to that of a roll shaft, a second arc A2 which has a lager curvature radius than the first arc A1, and is connected with the first arc A1 at a connecting point X in a side to which the steel strip is paid off, and a third arc A3 which has a larger curvature radius than the first circular arc A1, and is connected with the first arc A1 at the connecting point Y in a side at which the steel strip is wound up; and such a segment CZ between the center C of the first arc A1 and the middle point Z of the arc, as to tilt toward the second arc A2 side with respect to a direction of an axial load L.
