PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate input operation of a multiple number of needle location points which compose a pattern and also to facilitate creating a sewing pattern. SOLUTION: A touch panel 11 provided on a display 10 lights a touch input mark 51 and displays a canvas 50 in a vertical direction when a screen for creating new illustration is shown on the display 10 and when a touch pen input is possible. A touch pen is pressed and operated to plot in sequence the needle location points for the pattern to input the needle location points on each of the points plotted. The position data of the needle location points are memorized in a creating pattern data memory and the display data for displaying the pattern on the display screen is memorized in a creating pattern display data memory.
