The invention relates to a novel polypeptide containing the GAF<SUB>A</SUB>-domain and GAF<SUB>B</SUB>-domain of a human phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) and the catalytic domain of an adenylate cyclase, and to the use of this polypeptide in a method for identifying PDE5-modulators.
