The invention relates to an ink-supplying device used with an ink jet printer, especially to an ink cartridge with a constant-pressure ink­supplying structure and including a closed ink container. In one side of the container, there is a port for supplying ink to a print head and pinholes for inserting pins of the print head thereinto while mounting the cartridge, A partition divides the container into a first chamber and a second chamber, the two chambers communicating with each other via an opening in the lower of the partition. Located in the top of the first chamber is an air valve, which is actuated when the pins are inserted into the pinholes. It has simple structure, can supply ink under the constant pressure, and can prevent the ink from leaking while the cartridge is removed.
