There is provided a mobile telephone device in which a receiver for reproducing a talking sound and a loudspeaker for reproducing a ringing sound share a single sound generator and it is possible to assure reproduction frequency characteristic during the reproduction of the talking sound and reproduction frequency characteristic during reproduction of the ringing sound. During reproduction of the ringing sound, the frequency characteristic of a digital low pass filter (130) is selected for characteristic of a low pass filter (130b), a pre-stage amplifier (133b) of a loudspeaker amplifier (133) and a push-pull circuit (133d) are selected for an active state, the output format of the loudspeaker amplifier (133) is set for the circuit configuration of the BTL output so as to drive a loudspeaker (135), and the signal pass band is sent from 100 Hz to 20 KHz. During reproduction of the communication sound, the frequency characteristic of the digital low pass filter (130) is selected for characteristic of a low pass filter (130a), the pre-stage amplifier (133b) of the loudspeaker amplifier (133) and the push-pull circuit (133d) are selected for the stop state, the output format of the loudspeaker amplifier (133) is set to a circuit configuration of the single output so as to drive the loudspeaker (135), and the signal pass band is set to 300 Hz to 3 KHz.
