<p>A check valve made up of a substantially rigid portion and a substantially flexible membrane that is generally dome shaped. The substantially rigid portion includes one or more spokes that meet in the center of the rigid portion and one or more partial spokes extending part way to the center of the rigid portion. The dome shaped, substantially flexible membrane also includes one or more flexible spokes and one or more collapse zones. The completed check valve is made by connecting a center portion of the substantially rigid portion to a center portion of the dome shaped, substantially flexible membrane.</p> |
