<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hard coat film used as a film for protecting a coating target such as an optical recording medium such as an optical disk or the like, an optical magnetic recording medium, a liquid crystal display, a touch panel and the like, constituted by providing a hard coat layer on a base material film, good in the adhesion of the hard coat layer and the base material film and the surface smoothness of the hard coat layer, having no thickness irregularity and excellent in fingerprint wiping properties, and the hard coat film obtained by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The base material film is laminated on the layer comprising an energy beam curable hard coat composition formed on a release film with an average surface roughness Ra of 0.1 μm or below and the formed laminate is heated and irradiated with an energy beam to cure the energy beam curable hard coat composition layer to closely bond and form the hard coat layer on the base material film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
