PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and small push-pull switching power converter where noise is little, power efficiency and conversion efficiency are excellent, and output is stable. SOLUTION: This push-pull switching power converter includes a series circuit which has a first switching element, the primary winding of a first transformer, the primary winding of a second transformer, and a second switching element connected between the high and low output terminals of a DC power source, in this order. This also includes a series circuit consisting of two pieces of capacitors connected between the high and low output terminals of the DC power source. A course part for current resonance, which connects the neutral points of both series circuits, exists. The waveform of the switching voltage by the voltage resonance that the potential difference between the high-potential terminal of the primary winding of the first transformer and the low-potential terminal of the primary winding of the second transformer is applicable to is made a sine wave. The waveform of the switching current by the voltage resonance that the composite current between the primary winding current of the first transformer and the primary winding current of the second transformer is applicable to is made a sine wave, too.
