PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power outlet which can insulate/couple a tracking detection circuit connected to a source side power line of a make/break contact from/with a load side power line of the make/break contact without enlarging. SOLUTION: A power outlet 1 comprises: a make/break contact 3 which opens/closes a power line 2; a receiving blade 4 which is placed on a power line 2b on the load side of the make/break contact 3, and pinches a blade of a plug to connect the plug to the power line 2; a leakage detection circuit 6 which is connected to the power line 2b on the load side of the make/break contact 3, detects a leakage from the power line 2 with a zero-phase current transformer 5, and opens the make/break contact 3 with a trip coil 9 to break the power line 2; and a tracking detection circuit 8 which is connected to a power line 2a on the source side of the make/break contact 3, and detects a spark discharge by a sensor 7 occurring between the blades to indicate it with an LED 16 and to break the power line 2 with the trip coil 9 of the leakage detection circuit 6; where the tracking detection circuit 8 is coupled with the power line 2b on the load side of the make/break contact 3 through photo couplers 12, 17.
