PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a convenient arithmetic control unit for associating a displayed geometric figure or formula with a table for spreadsheet, and for performing the change and working of data related to the geometric figure or data related to the formula on the chart. SOLUTION: A function calculator analyzes a first electronic teaching material program 721, displays a polygon being one type of the geometric figure and a formula using variables expressing the geometric characteristics with the numerics on a teaching material picture 501, and also displays the table for the spreadsheet on a display picture 503. Then, when a link operation for associating the polygon with the table is detected, the values of the variables expressing the geometric characteristics of the polygon are inputted to a line 503a in the table and displayed, so that the working of the data related to the geometric figure is performed on the table.
