PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polycarbonate and crosslinked polycarbonate having excellent mechanical wear resistance performance, acceptable and improved resistance to electric degradation and excellent photoinduced discharge characteristics, and to provide an image forming member using the polycarbonate. SOLUTION: The member comprises a photogenerating layer and a charge transport layer, wherein the charge transport layer comprises a single or a plurality of charge transport components and a crosslinked polycarbonate polymer expressed by the formula.
