WIDE-ANGLE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE AND OPTICAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-angle image pickup device which is capable of wide-angle photographing and eliminates a need of conversion processing of a photographed picture. SOLUTION: A wide-angle image pickup device 1a is provided with an optical part 2a and a camera part 3b. The optical part 2a is provided with a convex columnar reflecting curved surface 5 for reflecting light from the outside and a columnar transmitting/reflecting curved surface 4 which is formed in the front of the columnar reflecting curved surface 5 and has a first polarizing film 6 for transmitting light from the outside and reflecting light made incident from the columnar reflecting curved surface 5. An incidence part 9 is provided in a part where light reflected by the columnar transmitting/reflecting curved surface 4 is condensed. The incidence part 9 is provided with a second polarizing film 11 for transmitting light reflected by the columnar transmitting/reflecting curved surface 4 and shielding direct light transmitted through the columnar transmitting/reflecting curved surface 4.
