PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely rotate a pressure film 13 while making fixing rise time the shortest by restraining heat loss in using film constitution for a pressure means side to the minimum in an image heating device for heating an image (t) on recording material while holding and conveying recording material P by a heating nip part N. SOLUTION: The image heating device has a flexible rotating body 13 passing through the heating nip part N, a driving roller 14 for driving the rotating body 13 and coming into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the rotating body 13 on a more downstream side in a recording material moving direction than the heating nip part N, and an external roller 15 holding the rotating body 13 in between with the driving roller 14.
